Hey guys, I’ve been struggling with terrible speeds and constant drops lately. I finally downloaded a free Wi-Fi analyzer on Android, ran a scan, and… well, look at this. It looks like a radioactive landfill.
Every single channel is overlapping, and my neighbors are blasting their SSIDs at max power. Is there anything I can do to fix this, or am I completely screwed?
Holy hell, Pack your bags and move to a deserted island. That spectrum is a warzone.
Just switch to 5 GHz and you’ll be fine. 2.4 GHz is dead. Problem solved.
@Vortex_Drive I can’t, my АР don’t support 5 GHz.
Just change your channel from auto to 1, 6 or 11. Problem solved
@HappyFace did u even look at OP’s screenshot?
What did you expect? It’s 2026, and the only thing that doesn’t use 2.4 GHz is a broom. All household appliances operate on this frequency now. If you want to solve a problem, you need to actually solve it. Go buy new equipment. There are no magic tricks or shortcuts here; miracles don’t happen on 2.4 GHz anymore.
@TimeDotTime Damn okay, guess i’ll start saving up then. thought maybe there was some hidden config trick in the settings i missed.
@Vortex_Drive My bad, the image didn’t load. Yeah, no other options here.
