Quick question for anyone using NetSpot Planning mode.
When I place APs and generate the heatmap, it shows coverage all over the floor plan, including areas I don’t really care about. I’m trying to clean it up a bit so I’m only looking at the actual usable space, not every corner outside the target area.
Basically, can you crop the heatmap or limit what part of it is shown, kind of like excluding areas you don’t want to focus on?
Yeah, you can do that. At the bottom there’s a Show menu where you can crop the heatmap. Works in both Survey and Planning.

It’s basically cropping what the heatmap shows, not creating some separate RF-ignored zone object.
Pretty sure you can also call the same thing from the heatmap context menu too, not just from the bottom panel. So if you’re already working directly on the map, that’s usually the faster way.
