I just have one quick question. How can I determine whether an access point is mounted on the ceiling or the wall in NetSpot’s planning mode?

There’s no direct wall/ceiling switch. But in NetSpot, this can be done differently — through the access point’s settings. To recreate a real-world setup, you can play with the antenna’s directivity and beam angles.

There is no such feature specifically, but you can set the height and direction of the antenna, this will convey the siring quite well.
