I just generated a PDF report from NetSpot and I’m confused.
I was expecting to see the Upload Speed heatmap in the report, but it’s not there. The report has the Signal Level, SNR, and a few other maps, but no Upload Speed.
Is this a bug in the report generation, or am I missing something obvious?
First question: are you generating the report from a Survey project or a Planning project? The available heatmaps are not exactly the same. if this is a Planning report, that may be why you don’t see it.
Were you sure you selected this heatmap when exporting the report? When you generate a PDF, NetSpot prompts you to select which visualizations to include in the document. There are checkboxes next to the map names. If you don’t check this box, the map won’t appear in the final report, even if it was created in the project and displays perfectly. I got caught like that once myself, and I thought the export was broken. But no. It was me.

Yep, that happens. For reports, I usually export once with only the client-friendly maps, then another internal version with all the diagnostic stuff: SNR, SIR, low signal, noise, overlap, etc.
