My WiFi coverage has become noticeably worse over the last few days. Nothing was moved, and the internet still works normally over Ethernet, but several rooms that used to have a stable connection now either show one bar or fail to get an IP address.
The setup is an ISP modem connected to an Eero router. The router is in the same place it has always been, and there haven’t been any major changes around it.
First check the simple stuff. Did anyone put a TV, metal shelf, speaker, or anything else near the router? Even moving it behind furniture can make a bigger difference than people expect. Also reboot both the modem and router, not just one of them.

That sounds more like a band/channel issue than a dead router.
Dude, run a proper network scan with an app. If you didn’t change anything, your neighbors may have bought new gear or a more powerful router and started messing with your channels. NetSpot’s pretty solid for this kinda troubleshooting tbh. You can see nearby networks + signal levels in real time, then run a quick survey and check the heatmaps to figure out exactly where your coverage tanks or interference gets worse.
Eero doesn’t expose many manual channel settings:(, so you may need to let it optimize overnight.
